This position calls for an individual who possesses effective and positive communication skills and oversees day-to-day operations. The individual must be organized and detail-oriented; have strong problem-solving, decision-making, team-working, and time management skills.<\/p>

This position’s duties include aiding with operations inventory and directing outside trucks and equipment operators inside the operations area.<\/p>

  • Ensures adherence to work procedures,<\/li>
  • Follow the process to ensure cargo care along with its stowage indication & handle IMO Goods as per the requirements of IMDG code<\/li>
  • Direct delivery trucks and help load and unload goods safely<\/li>
  • Participate in cargo loading in order to ensure completeness of load and even distribution of weight<\/li>
  • Receive and tally the assigned goods<\/li>
  • Verify if physical tally match with shipping documents<\/li>
  • Make the arrival notice<\/li>
  • Issue the bin cards and track time storage of cargo in the warehouse accordingly<\/li>
  • Daily check of the Cargo under your supervision and the goods in store are in good conditions<\/li>
  • Pre-alert the Warehouse Supervisor\/Team Leader on any discrepancies on seal state prior to breaking it (e.g Seal broken, Wrong seal number\u2026)<\/li>
  • Alert the Warehouse management on state of cargo in case of damaged goods to take provision on eventually claims<\/li>
  • Check import\/export documentation to determine cargo contents, and classify goods into different fee or tariff groups, using a tariff coding system<\/li>
  • Guides Equipment drivers in work area during operations<\/li>
  • Assists outside truckers in locations references<\/li>
  • Records and informs Supervisor of work-related accidents<\/li>
  • Monitors operations in yard and recording damages,<\/li>
  • Ensures containers are stacked properly in yard i.e. vertically aligned and empty containers don\u2019t have IMO labels<\/li>
  • Submits all documents and information to incoming shift<\/li>
  • Ensures adherence to procedures during storms.<\/li>
  • Adhere, respect and implement safety in work area<\/li>
  • Performs any other tasks assigned by superior<\/li>
