Job Description

This position calls for an individual who possesses effective and positive communication skills, extensive customer service skills, and strong leadership and analytical skills. The individual must be organized and detail-oriented; have strong problem-solving, decision-making, team-working, and time management skills.

The purpose of this position is being accountable for finding and retaining clients and customers, encouraging extant clients to purchase added products or features, and remaining abreast of changes in consumption.

The position reports directly to the Commercial Supervisor.

Job Context

  • Familiarizing with all products and services offered by the company.
  • Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients.
  • Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and marketing.
  • Attending networking activities to research and connect with potential clients.
  • Making outbound calls and visits to potential clients.
  • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Reviewing clients’ feedback and implementing necessary changes.
  • Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.
  • Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
  • Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices.
  • Closing sales and working with the client through the closing process.
  • Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews.
  • Mastermind business growth strategies to help meet organizational goals and objectives.
  • Meeting or exceeding annual sales goals.
  • Equipping staff with the technical and social skills needed to enhance sales.
  • Collaborating with management on sales goals.
  • Formulate new ideas and analyze sales and other reports to decide how the company can improve performance.
  • Remaining in tune with trends in consumption to ensure that our offerings remain relevant.
  • Submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Support the team with other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Extensive sales experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavior
  • Ability to generate revenue by identifying pin points and suggesting suitable products or services
  • Able to work in and promote a team-oriented environment
  • Very good knowledge of English, Kurdish, and Arabic
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to simultaneously manage multiple initiatives
  • Ability to work in a high-pressured environment
  • Preferably female
